We are two exercise professionals living on Long Island hoping to share our love and knowledge for all things fitness. We want B&B to be your go to resource for your active lifestyle.

This is a commonplace to learn and share experiences whether you run, lift, cycle, or simply want to get up and move. We will share our workouts, recipes, tips, and personal challenges to help you achieve your goals- all while enjoying time with girlfriends and a glass of wine!


Meet Pam

Pam is a Maryland born, New York living exercise physiologist, marathon runner, and fitness enthusiast. She has been working in the health and fitness industry since 2007 in a variety of settings including corporate wellness, commercial fitness, and physical therapy. She holds a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Towson University, a master’s degree in exercise physiology from Adelphi University, and she is a NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and NASM Certified Personal Trainer.

A bookworm as a child, Pam didn’t find fitness until a few traumatic events left her looking for a new outlet in life. She began running track in her junior year of high school and little did she know how important running would become to her and that it would save her life. In 2008 she ran her first half marathon and her love for distance running was born. She has since ran 15 half marathons and 7 marathons. She also enjoys lifting weights, taking classes on ClassPass, working out with Tone It Up, and trying any new fitness adventure. Her favorite weekend is spent with her boyfriend Al, her cat Mercedes, a glass of rosé, and a board game.


Meet Louise

Louise is Long Island born, but lived in Ohio for several years. After attending college in Pennsylvania, she moved back to New York for grad school. Her love for exercise started with broomball in high school, lacrosse through college, and running 5ks to stay in shape. As an Exercise Science major, life was surrounded by fitness opportunities and like-minded friends. During college, Louise starting teaching group fitness and becoming more involved in running. During senior year she and her roommates signed up for their first half marathon- and there has been no turning back!

Louise earned her Master of Science from Adelphi University and Bachelor of Science from Slippery Rock University, both degrees in Exercise Science. She is an ACSM Health Fitness Specialist and AFAA Group Exercise Instructor. Louise currently works as an Exercise Physiologist and teaches weekly group fitness classes (including cycling, kickboxing, strength training, and circuit training).

Running is still Louise’s favorite way to sweat! She has completed five half marathons and is currently deciding on a sixth! Her favorite weekly workouts balance running, cycling, and strength training. In the summer, you can find her laying on the beach, reading a book. In the winter, she’s up in the mountains snowboarding with friends. Both are followed by happy hour 😉
